Can you believe I’ve never had Thai food before?! (Well, I mean before I visited Rosa’s, obviously- now I’m hooked!)
My baby sis is currently making her way around Thailand and the last time we spoke she had just had an amazing Pad Thai- I can’t vouch for how good it was, but having never tried any Thai food, I wanted in on the action!
When their newest branch popped up down the road from my flat I couldn’t resist popping in- their interiors are what dreams are made of -and my Instagram theme!- all pastel shades & marble!
As a newbie, I followed my sisters example and went for the Chicken Pad Thai. Honestly the whole menu sounded delicious, there were so many other thing I could have chosen, and I’ve been thinking about going back ever since. I’ll definitely be trying some of the starters next time- the Chicken Satay and the Calamari. Whilst writing this up I’ve just found out that they deliver too, I mean it would be rude NOT to order something for dinner now, right?
My #1 companion on blogging business- I’m still not ready to make everyone wait until I have taken photos of every single meal, so I stick with people who I know won’t mind there food lukewarm (insert monkey with hands over eyes emoji here)- went for the Chicken Drunken Noodles, which apparently contain 0 alcohol but hey ho, they looked delicious too!It was the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had- although I guess that’s easy for me to say, as it’s the only one I’d had. I definitely struck lucky in that my first Thai experience was a good’un! Plus, #1, who is apparently a connoisseur of Thai food, was very impressed by her meal too & that’s all the confirmation I need that Rosa’s is FAB.
Plus, each dish cost less that £10 – which, as far as I’m concerned, was a bargain, considering you’d pay more for a pizza, and this was sooo much better! (Although I’m sure my sister is paying a lot less over in Thailand!)
Have you ever visited a Rosa’s Thai Cafe? Or do you have any other Thai recommendations? I’d love to know what your favourite dishes are for my next visit!
