Cutter and Squidge

Definition of the 'Biskie' A vast array of Biskies at Cutter and Squidge
I’ve been eyeing up this cutesy little cake shop for a while, famous for their biskies, and jumped at the opportunity to make a trip recently after a not too fabulous exam.

Post-exam is undoubtedly one of the most necessary times for a treat (if I do say so myself!), especially when it hasn’t gone the way you hoped and a pick me up is in order! Besides, calories don’t count when you’re stressed and upset, right?

I met up with my sister, who I can count on to never turn down cake, and we were stunned with the number of bakes available! It took us a good 10 minutes to decide, opting for a slice of coconut cake and one of lemon cake- they were bigger than the biskies and we were pushing the boat out! I wish I remembered their actual names, which would definitely do them more justice but obviously I was preoccupied with how amazing they looked! They tasted just as good, if not better!

We also pledged to grab some biskies on the way out for my flatmate, or more likely me!

The baked goods weren’t the only stars of the show, my sister ordered a passion fruit float to help wash down her cake and boy was it good! I somehow forgot to take a photo but I assure you, you will be missing out if you don’t order one yourself!

We actually forgot to pick up the biskies for home on the way out, much to my dismay, and I’ve been desperate to return since so hopefully it won’t be too long!

If you’ve any other gems around London, or even further afield, that you think I’d love please let me know! I’m always on the lookout for a new spot!
