Sunday Strolls

Sunday Strolls

At home, Sunday was always reserved as a ‘family day’. No matter what we did; be it go on a walk, go shopping or go out for dinner, it was always together.

Now I’m in London, I don’t have that reservation. So rather than wasting the day in bed, suffering from the night before, I take Sunday as a ‘me’ day. I try to get out of the house and explore the beautiful landscapes in the comfort of my own company, which can be quite difficult- coming from a big family I’m not used to spending much time alone!

This week, me and my camera took a stroll around Hyde Park. No matter how many times I find myself here, I never get tired. There’s always something new to find and its a great spot to people watch! Enjoy…

It's safe to say the deck chairs weren't getting much use!

How do you spend your sunday? Please let me know! I’m always on the look out for new hobbies and ways to spend my down time.

As the proverb goes, ‘a sunday well spent brings a week of content’!

  • I’ve just moved to London for uni and I have to make a point of getting out and about, like you, just so that I don’t waste my time in bed in such a beautiful city! I’ve even got a blog series called “exploring London” 🙂

Surprisingly, I haven’t been to Hyde Park since I’ve moved here and your beautiful autumnal pictures have definitely made me want to.

    • It’s so easy to put things off when you live here- you always think you can do it some other time!

  • Beautiful pictures! All those autumn leaves on the floor are making me so happy! Autumn is my favourite season!

    • I’m sad it’s nearly over but honestly I start counting down to Christmas in August so you can guess why I like this time of year!
